New portable dvd player

pappy bought a portable dvd player with the intention to keep joshua boy entertained along the journey to malacca. It has become joshua's new toy, and he can really hook onto the screen for a good 30min...switching from one show to the next... Personally i feel that it's not healthy for him. I keep that away from him now.

I'm back!

Dear mummies-bloggers,
i'm back! joshua boy slept early tonite. He dozed off in the car on our way to xin wang hong kong cafe. That was shortly after 9pm. It was very rare that he slept sooooooo early. Well, that gives us more couple time :)
How is joshua boy's speech development lately? He speaks more now, not a complete sentence yet, but can tell that he is trying to communicate with us.

• In the morning when he wants to get up from the bed, he will make his request "qi lai, qi lai" i will then hold his hand to lift him up;
• when he doesn't want or need anything, he will shake his head "bu yao, bu yao";
• when he wants to drink water or milk, he will say "ahh milk milk;
• when he wants to go to the playground, he will tell me too "slide, slide..."
• when he wants to watch dvd, he will utter "choo choo"; when he wants to watch 'Elmo', he will keep saying "elmo elmo..."
• when he sees an aeroplane, "ji ji";
• when he goesto hougang mall, "more, more...";
• when we past by our parish church Nativity Church, he will say "zerch, zerch";
• when he goes to our parents' place, he will greet our parents "ye ye" "zong zong" (gong gong) "ma ma"
• when he has his poo done in the diaper, he will not say anything, but will keep beating the front part of the diaper;
• when he wants my TLC, he will be very sweet to me "mi, mi..." (that's the way to call me nowadays)
