pappy bought a portable dvd player with the intention to keep joshua boy entertained along the journey to malacca. It has become joshua's new toy, and he can really hook onto the screen for a good 30min...switching from one show to the next... Personally i feel that it's not healthy for him. I keep that away from him now.

hmmm...screen time for 2.5 years old should be fine. Expects recommmend no screen time below 2 years .....
no good to watch while in a moving vehicle, I think. All the flickering will spoil the eyes right ?
last time for my elder gal, we always leave when is almost her morning nap. Which is ard 2 hrs after she wakes up so that she can nap abt half the journey. Then the rest of the journey is a stop to relax and some milk or snacks in car. I always have a food bag with her fav snacks, strawberry porky, ball biscuits, raisins etc. Anything that is not too crumby. For the last trip for bb Yun Er, we also did the same.
I really miss him leh. We must go out during the holis.
